Cappadocia

Day 1
Take a morning flight from Istanbul to Kayseri or Nevsehir Airport with Turkish Airlines.
Meet our guide and driver at Kayseri Airport then transfer to Cappadocia. Start discovering Cappadocia's unique landscape; first visit to the Dervent Rock formations valley, then we head on Zelve-Paşabag Valley with beautiful vineyards of Fairy Chimneys area. Avanos has been a center of terra-cotta art since 3000 BC. Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon visit to the famous Göreme Open Air Museum with fascinating frescoes, Uchisar rock fortress , the highest point in Cappadocia. Overnight in Cappadocia. (Lunch included)

Day 2
After breakfast, we pay a morning visit to the Underground city of Kaymaklı Underground City and drive to Ihlara Canyon which is famous with the fascinating landscape of the canyon and its rock churches with colorful frescoes. Lunch at a local restaurant. Visit the Selime Monasteries in the afternoon then drive to Ağzıkarahan Caravenserai. Return to hotel. (Lunch included)

Day 3
After breakfast and checking out, we drive to Soganli Valley and village in the rocks. Visit the villagers and the rock carved churches from the 11.th Century. Then drive to Sobesos Ancient Roman Mosaics City. Drive to Taskinpaşa Village to see the Teological school from the Selchuks period (used as a library today). Lunch in a very small village of Ayvali in a village house. Late afternoon, visit the Sinasos (Mustafapaşa) Village. See the best examples of Greek houses with decorations and 19th Century churches in Cappadocia. Transfer to Kayseri airport. (Lunch included)

Ephesus & Pamukkale

Day 1
Take an early morning flight to Izmir. Upon arrival, meet your driver and assistant to proceed to Pamukkale (4 hr drive) to visit one of the most amazing natural sites of the world. Pamukkale, meaning 'White Castle' in Turkish, is a geothermal feature of white terraced hot springs in southwest Turkey. The ancient city of Hierapolis was constructed atop the springs and many ruins remain. Overnight at a thermal hotel in Pamukkale. (Lunch included)

Day 2
Take an early drive to Selcuk, in order to visit one of the best preserved ancient cities of the world. First visit the Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Ephesus was undoubtedly one of the most important cultural centers of the ancient world. Impressive structures we will see include the Library of Celsus, Temple of Hadrian, Theatre and Odeon. We also visit the House of the Virgin Mary, where she is believed to have spent the last days of her life. Drive to Izmir for overnight.

Day 3
Izmir is the third biggest city in Turkey, with a major port to Aegean. According to the ancient tradition, Ionian Smirna was the birth place of Homer. Enjoy a half day city tour today, visiting the Clock Tower, built on the 19th century by Sultan Hamit and the small but ornate 18th century mosque "Konak Camii"; Izmir's bazaar district, a maze of narrow streets; archeology museum, with an extensive collection of artifacts from the region; Kadifekale, the Mt. Pagus, on top of which are some of the fortifications built by the Byzantines and Ottoman. Take an afternoon flight back to Istanbul.
